The Prostaff 5 Spotting Scopes are suitable for beginners and are Nikon’s telescope models. The included zoom eyepiece reduces colour aberrations at the edges of the image, and the long eye relief improves viewing comfort.
All lenses and prisms in both the body and eyepieces are multi-coated. The telescope is made of lead and arsenic-free Eco-glass, waterproof up to 1 meter for 10 minutes, and is fog-free thanks to O-ring seals and nitrogen filling. The lenses of the Sep-20-60 eyepiece are also waterproof.
It comes with a built-in sliding sunshade, and the body has two screw-mounting points, allowing the telescope to be securely attached to a tripod both with and without a digiscoping system.
